RETROPOLI Project

Overview

From food web models to political decision-making: what lessons can be learned from simulations of cumulative impacts in the Baie de Seine? On the basis of the idea that the « network » object makes it possible to crystallize interdisciplinary research, we seek to exchange methods and concepts to answer the question: how can trophic network models make it possible to base the political decision ? For this purpose, studies carried out in the Baie de Seine on various impacts (offshore wind turbine projects, port dredging sites, aggregate extraction, port extension, fishing) based on pre / post impact observations or simulated scenarios will be revisited in order to identify useful points for political decision.
